Yukon River, Canada
The project site on the Yukon River is located in a very complex riverine environment. It has the longest Chinook Salmon run in the world. It also has a large hydro power plant immediately upstream which supplies most of the power for the entire Yukon Territory. The Power Plant also has one of the longest fish ladders in the world. Our team is coordinating with the varied interests on the river to develop a River Recreation Enhancements project which meets the needs of all parties. A Feasibility Study and Conceptual Design were completed December, 2007.
